 All of the Remora skimmer are built from translucent gray acrylic to inhibit the growth of algae and marine organisms. This is to keep it from having to be cleaned as often.

This is one of the most powerful nano skimmers on the market. The Nano Remora is virtually identicalto the standard Remora. They have shortened the overall height of the skimmer so that it would fit on anano reef. This unit is driven by a Maxi Jet 900, this skimmer is capable of maintaining excellent water quality on smaller 5-20 gallon systems.

The dimensions on this unit is 13″ tall x 6″ wide x 2.75″ deep. The vertical clearance needed for this unit about 10.5 above the tank. The tank opening needs to be a minimum of 5.25″ x 1.5″. A tank height of at least 7.5” is need for this unit. You will need to have 2.75” of space behind the tank also the it has to have a lip of at least 1 3/8” for the unit to fit correctly. There are two screws at the base of the skimmer that are used to adjust the Nano Remora. Up to the level with the back of the tank. You can adjust the collection cup up or down by moving the position of the EPDM o-ring around the cup.

The Remora is the one that is rated for 20-75 gallons of water. It is also a hang on back type of skimmer. The Remora is one of the best selling hang on back type of skimmers on the market. With this you will get the Maxi Jet 1200 pump which is plenty of power for this unit. This is one of the easiest plug and play units you can get. They also offer a surface prefilter accessory for this skimmer.

The dimensions on this unit is 19″ tall x 6″ wide x 2-3/4″ deep. The vertical clearance needed for this unit about 10.5 above the tank. The tank opening needs to be a minimum of 5-1/4″ x 1-1/2″. A tank height of at least 12-1/2″ is need for this unit. You will need to have 2-3/4″ of space behind the tank also the it has to have a lip of at least 1 3/8” for the unit to fit correctly.

The big dog of from the Remora skimmers line is the Remora Pro.  It is a larger and more powerful version of the pouplar Remora. This skimmer is rated for tank between 50-120 gallons of water. It is a powerful hang on back skimmer. Included with this unit is either the Mag drive 3 or the Rio 1400 pump. Offered with this skimmer is a surface prefilter accessory for this skimmer.

The dimensions on this unit is 22″ tall x 7-1/2″ wide x 3-1/4″ deep. The vertical clearance needed for this unit about 12” above the tank. The tank opening needs to be a minimum of 6-1/2″ x 1″. A tank height of at least 15-1/4″ is need for this unit. You will need to have 3-1/4″ of space behind the tank also the lip on the tank of no more than 1-1/2″ for the unit to fit correctly.
